Terms of Use
Last updated: June 21, 2026
By using ipcow.com — the website, the tools, or the API — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
ipcow provides IP, DNS, email and network diagnostic tools. The free tools are offered without an account. We may change, add, or remove tools at any time.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the tools to attack, overload, or disrupt other systems or networks.
- Don't use ipcow for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others.
- Don't place an unreasonable automated load on the service. Free use is rate-limited; high-volume or programmatic use should go through the API and its tier limits.
- Don't attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, or authentication.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Tool results are best-effort and may be incomplete or out of date; don't rely on them as the sole basis for critical decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ipcow and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Accounts & paid plans
When accounts and paid tiers are available, additional terms (rate limits, billing, acceptable API use) apply to them. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret.
Intellectual property
ipcow's tool logic is open source under the MIT license (see GitHub). The ipcow name and cow mark are ours; please don't imply endorsement.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
